Round 11 of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Series traveled West to Pala, California. This race was an absolute scorcher reaching temperatures over 100 degress. This type of day really showed who was strong in the series and Coty Schock was among the few. Coty was able to go 7-7 on the day and take home another 7th overall in the 450 class! Another great ride came from Freddie Noren. Freddie has been out with injury the past couple weeks and returned to the series with a 10th place overall. Other riders in the 450 class were Jacob Runkles in 22nd, Dominic DeSimone 26th, and Joshua Philbrick in 33rd. In the 250 class it was all Carson Mumford. Unfortunitely the FXR/Chap. Honda rider had a first turn crash and some other bad luck that resulted in a 14th overall on the day. The series finale and round 12 of the series continues next weekend at the Hangtown National in Prairie City, California on September 11, 2021.
